Tracing requirements to items

  1. Choose a requirement from the tree that you want to associate with a User Story or item in the appropriate Agile integration.
  2. Click the Delivery Status tab.
  3. Click Modify. The Agile Delivery dialog box appears.
  4. Click Iteration, User Stories, or Backlog tab and navigate through the tree to find the story to which to link the requirement.
  5. Select the User Story or item and on the toolbar click Trace.
    Tip: If you do not want to trace to a User Story that you've traced to in the Agile Delivery dialog box, click Cancel Changes to remove the trace.
  6. Navigate to a trace to additional stories, as needed.
  7. Click Save Changes. The Enter a Comment dialog box appears.
  8. Type a description for the change in the field.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Close the Agile Delivery dialog box. The User Story appears in the Delivery Status Summary table.
