Comparing Requirements

You can compare requirements three ways: to previous versions of the same requirement, to another requirement, or to any version of another requirement, and print a report of the comparison.

To compare versions of the same requirement:

  1. Click Home.
  2. Click Previous Version, or right-click on the requirement in the requirement tree and select that option in the pop-up menu.

    The current version of the requirement is compared with the previous version of the requirement, and displays an .html file that informs you of the number

  3. Click OK. You can now see the differences between the two versions. The differences are identified by shaded rows and a red arrow to the left of the attribute(s) that differ.
  4. Select File > Print and follow normal Windows printing procedures to print the report.
Note: You are comparing versions of the same requirement.
