Filtering the Requirement Grid

You can filter requirements appearing in the Requirement Grid to display only the information you want to see.

To filter the Requirement Grid:

  1. Open the Requirement Grid. The Requirement Grid Filter dialog box appears.
  2. Under Rows, select an existing filter from the drop-down list or select New Filter to create a new one.
  3. Under Rows, click in the edit box to reveal the available controls for specifying the criteria and rules by which to filter requirements.
    Note: Select Retrieve Hierarchy Numbers check box to display the requirement hierarchy numbers in the grid. Using this feature may slow performance. Select Retrieve Last Modified Information check box to display last modified information. Select Retrieve Description Field check box to retrieve description field.
  4. Click OK. The Requirement Grid Filter dialog box closes and the requirements are loaded into the Requirement Grid.
