Adding a Column to a Data Table

  1. In the Project Explorer, select the data table in which to add a row. The data table appears in the Table Designer.
  2. Click Add Column. The Column dialog box opens.
  3. Set the column properties, as follows:
    1. Type a column name.
    2. Select the data type for the column from the list box.
  4. Click OK. The column is added to the table with the properties that you chose.
