Importing Data from a Spreadsheet

Caliber Visualize provides a data-import feature for simulations that allows you to import a single-page spreadsheet in comma separated values (CSV) format to use as a data table in a project. Imported spreadsheets are intended to be used a representative sample for use in simulations.

The import a spreadsheet function is available from the Business Data tab.

After you import the spreadsheet, you can open the Table Designer to edit rows, columns, and data just as you can edit any other data table.

For best results, import a spreadsheet with a single page with column names in the first row, and content in subsequent rows. Spreadsheets are limited to a 101-row maximum that includes a header row. If a spreadsheet is queued for import and it is more than the 101-row maximum allowed.
