Configuring Logic Action to Select Data

  1. In the Project Explorer, select the simulation containing the logic action. The Simulation Designer opens.
  2. Double-click the logic action. The Logic Editor appears.
  3. Select Select Data from the Create list box on the Logic Editor toolbar. The Select data dialog box opens.
    Note: The selections you view depend upon which action you choose and the data tables that are configured in your project.
  4. Set the options in the dialog box for the following items:
    1. Select data from – Selects the data table from which the data is loaded.
      Selecting the data table updates the Select data dialog box with the fields that are contained in the selected table.
    2. Criteria – Sets the criteria for logic configuration from choices for Equals, Not equals, Contains, Greater than, and Less than.
    3. Using – Sets the method for data selection.
    4. Select check box – Check the check boxes corresponding to each column from which you want to select data.
    5. As – Set the name for the check boxes corresponding to each column from which you want to select data. The default name from the check box is already filled in for you, but you can change them.
  5. When the choices are set, click Save & Close on the Select data dialog box.
